One profile, shared on your terms
We built myProfile247 around a simple idea: sharing information about yourself should not mean handing over an entire profile. The solution organises personal information as individual attributes, so people can manage which facts they share, with whom and for what purpose. It combines a public website, a web application and a companion mobile experience.
The attribute is the starting point
A profile can contain identity details, professional information, credentials and other facts. Each attribute has its own sharing controls and confidence information. Collections help organise related attributes, while request and sharing workflows let people respond to a specific need with the relevant information. This makes the product useful for situations where a full document or complete profile would be excessive.
Confidence based on evidence
We implemented a backend rating engine that calculates attribute confidence from configured evidence, rating rules and the weight of the reviewing entity. Self-declared information and peer attestations are active parts of the model. A profile holder can ask another user to review selected attributes; a signed confirmation creates an attestation and updates the relevant score. Official-authority and escrow evidence tiers are shown as coming soon and are not active contributors to current scores.
Sharing, requests and history
The application brings Profile, History, Verify, Requests, People and Privacy into a connected experience. Users can compose shares, organise collections, manage requests and revoke access. History and audit events make the sharing workflow visible. The design emphasises selective disclosure: asking what information is actually needed before sharing it.
Technology across web and mobile
The website and web application use Next.js, React and TypeScript. The mobile experience uses React Native and Expo, with native SVG components for confidence indicators and branding. Both connect to a .NET API backed by PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core. Authentication is API-owned, with web cookies and mobile bearer/refresh sessions supporting their respective environments.
A transparent approach to trust
Confidence scoring is an evidence-based rules engine, rather than a generative AI judgement about a person. We keep the distinction between a declared fact, peer-reviewed evidence and future verification tiers visible in the product. This is central to explaining what a confidence score means and avoiding claims beyond the evidence behind it.
Built for selective information exchange
The product explores use cases such as professional credentials, business onboarding and personal profile sharing. We can apply the same design approach to customer portals, consent-driven data sharing and verification workflows: start with the minimum information needed, make permissions understandable and give users a clear record of their actions.
